Basepin

Overview

In my time at Basepin I was in charge of many aspects of the construction management tool, Basepin Connect. Primarily I was the UX Designer, but as we were a very small company I was also heavily involved in user research and development management. At a high level the product helped facilitate construction management to reduce cost.

Research

I worked directly with the CEO and major stakeholders for general direction, but was also able to test with less familiar users. Testing typically consisted of in-person task analysis sessions, but also included virtual sessions. Features were also brought to the table based on popularity of the request within our customer base.

Design

I spent a large portion of my time developing user flows, wireframing in Axure and prototyping for new tools and features within the software. This process proved to be extremely rewarding as I was able to see it from ideation into production. I am under NDAs that keep me from sharing too much about the product, but feel free to ask.
